My Educational Goals and Plans for My Career
My first educational goal is to earn
a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education Leadership. After graduation, I will
pursue a year-long internship where I can utilize my Christian Education skills
and gain on-the-job experience. Once I qualify for the Director of Christian
Education credential, I plan to pursue a Master’s Degree in my field.
My future career plan is to become a
Director of Christian Education. As a Director of Christian Education, I will
become an important tool in ministry by changing lives and bringing hope to our
youth. As a Director of Christian Education (DCE), I will become a lifespan
educational leader prepared for team ministry that plans, administers, and
assesses ministry. I will be able to nurture and develop youth for spiritual
maturity and service. My future roles may include serving as a ministry leader,
Christian educator, care minister, or as
a life span minister who works with people of all ages and backgrounds. Most
importantly, I want to empower our youth to live healthy, productive lives of
hope and courage.
From all of the career options, my
degree could apply to, my ideal career to pursue would be a Christian educator.
I feel that my talents and abilities would be perfect for this position. What
inspired me to go into this career was interning for my Director of Christian
Education and mentor, Cassie Moore. On top of that, I also feel that I would
best be fitted to teach youth. Whether I am teaching preschoolers, all the way
to high school age, I think my abilities are best fitted to teach youth. I feel
that I would have a very large impact on their lives, and they would, in turn,
have a huge impact on mine.
The main goal that I would like to
achieve in life is to impact at least one person’s life. That would be a huge
achievement for me personally, and it would be a huge testament to my faith.
